Liv Mari Ulla Mortensen is an MA graduate in directing fiction from The Norwegian Film School, and directing from Westerdals Oslo ACT. She is also an educated Screenwriter from Alma Manusutbildning.

Mortensens stories aim to get close to the characters perspectives. She debuted as Showrunner and Director for TV 2 Play’s young adult drama series “Etter lørdag / About Saturday”. The series won the prize "Best Short Format Series" in Canneseries 2021. Her first feature “Posisjon” is in development.
